Kathleen Badeau-Trépanier joined DUX with extensive experience as a legal assistant specializing in family and youth law. A graduate of law school in 2011, she worked for several years in private firms and public organizations, including the litigation department of the Youth Protection Services (DPJ). In this capacity, she contributed to the management of a high volume of complex and sensitive cases, particularly in the areas of adoption and guardianship.
Throughout her career, she has developed versatile expertise: managing court schedules, preparing and serving legal documents, opening and monitoring files, billing, customer service, and providing logistical and administrative support. Her in-depth knowledge of judicial procedures and administrative processes is a valuable asset to the team.
Beyond her technical skills, Kathleen stands out for her organizational abilities, rigor, and efficiency, as well as her attentiveness and human approach. With a background in customer service, she knows how to establish a warm and reassuring rapport with the people she supports. In this way, she helps create a climate of trust and supports the team in its mission to make justice more accessible and humane.
