Me Julie Hamelin
Lawyer

Me Julie Hamelin has practiced youth and family law since her swearing-in in 2008. With nearly two decades of experience, she assists her clients in some of the most sensitive and complex cases, where human issues are as important as legal questions.
Throughout her career, Me Hamelin has represented parents, children, foster families, and other interested parties before the Court of Québec and the Superior Court. Her career has led her to practice in boutique firms as well as independently. During these years, she notably developed a significant practice in Abitibi, where she practiced for seven years.
She currently practices in several judicial districts, primarily in Laval and Abitibi. In 2026, she joined DUX law firm to continue her practice within a team that shares her vision: to offer excellent, accessible, and deeply human legal representation.
Driven by a profound sense of justice, Me Hamelin prioritizes an approach characterized by listening, respect, and transparency. She takes the time to understand the reality of each person she assists, to explain legal issues in simple terms, and to develop a strategy tailored to their needs and objectives.
Positive, reassuring, and approachable, she knows how to build trust with her clients. But when circumstances demand it, she defends their interests with confidence, determination, and conviction. This ability to combine empathy and firmness makes her a valuable ally in the most delicate situations.
For Me Hamelin, each case is unique. Her objective is to offer rigorous, strategic and personalized representation, while ensuring that her clients feel listened to, understood and supported at every stage of their journey.
